Piotr Stós – rocznik 1965, krakowianin. Z wykształcenia hydrobiolog, absolwent Wydziału Biologii i Nauk o Ziemi Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego.
Z nurkowaniem i fotografią podwodną związany od roku 1986.
Wychowanek Akademickiego Klubu Podwodnego „Krab” w Krakowie. Instruktor nurkowania
i fotografii podwodnej.
W latach 1993-1996 pracownik Zakładu Biologii Wód PAN, gdzie prowadził badania
organizmów zamieszkujących stawy tatrzańskie. Współzałożyciel centrum nurkowego NAUTICA,
działającego od 1998 roku.
Nurkował na Malediwach, Palau, Kubie, Mauritiusie, Galapagos, w Indonezji, Malezji, Tajlandii, Meksyku, Mikronezji, Egipcie, Rosji, Hiszpanii, Chorwacji i we Włoszech.
Jego fotografie podwodne można spotkać w czasopismach ilustrowanych, folderach,
kalendarzach, na plakatach i na stronach internetowych.
Fotografuje Nikonem D200 w obudowie Subal oraz Olympusem OM-D5 w obudowie Nauticam.

Piotr Stós – born in 1965 in Krakow, Poland. A hydrobiologist by education, a graduate of the Faculty of Biology and Earth Sciences of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. He has been dedicated to diving and underwater photography since 1986. A graduate of the Academic Underwater Club „Krab” in Krakow. Instructor of diving and underwater photography.
In the years 1993-1996 he was an employee of the Biology Department of the Polish Academy of Sciences, where he conducted research on the organisms inhabiting Tatra ponds. Co-founder of the NAUTICA diving center, operating since 1998.
He dived in the Maldives, Palau, Cuba, Mauritius, Galapagos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Mexico, Micronesia, Egypt, Russia, Spain, Croatia, and Italy. His underwater photographs can be found in diving magazines, folders, calendars, on posters, and on websites. Photographs with the Nikon D200 in the Subal housing and the Olympus OM-D5 in the Nauticam housing.
